Mike attended Albion College where he played baseball and studied exercise science and physical education. Mike started his personal training career in 2006 at Michigan Rehabilitation Specialists in Hamburg. In 2010 he took over as the strength coach at Hartland High School and continues to do this. From 2011 – 2013 he worked at Barwis Methods in Plymouth where he trained a wide range of clients ranging from spinal cord injuries to professional athletes. In 2013 Mike became the director of performance training and fitness at the Legacy Center. Now Mike continues to train athletes at Hartland High School and help Randy Young training athletes, but his focus at the Legacy Center is Legacy Fit small group personal training. These small, personalized groups allow people to achieve their goals by working with a trainer as well as being motivated by others trying to accomplish similar goals. Mike has a passion for nutrition and is currently finishing his Precision Nutrition Certification.
Mike has also coached baseball at Hartland High School and lives in Okemos with his beautiful wife Beth and two girls Christina and Grace.
